Is Aviator Game Legit, or Is It a Scam?
Aviator is a real crash game developed by Spribe, a Tbilisi and London-based studio, and released on February 2019. The game itself is legitimate: it runs on provably fair maths, shows a 97% RTP in the standard configuration, and is distributed through licensed casino lobbies. The scams are not the game — they’re the fake apps, predictor bots and phishing sites built around it to exploit people searching for “aviator game download”, “aviator apk” or “aviator signals”. This page identifies the most common schemes, explains how to recognise the real game, and sets out what to do if you’ve been caught.
Scams to Recognise
Fake Aviator apps and APK files
Spribe does not publish a standalone Aviator app. The game is HTML5 and opens inside a casino’s browser or mobile app — no separate download is needed. Every “Aviator APK”, “Aviator app for Android” or “Aviator game download” file offered outside a casino’s own app store page is a third-party build. Softonic-style APK aggregators rank on page one in Australia for “aviator game”, but the files they host are not Spribe’s. These APKs can be ad-ware, clones with rigged multipliers, or phishing shells that ask for your card details or send you to an unknown deposit page. Red flag: any file claiming to be Aviator that you install outside a licensed casino’s official app.
Aviator predictor apps and signal bots
Telegram channels, YouTube videos and paid “VIP groups” claim they can predict the next crash point or sell you a winning pattern. They cannot. Each round’s multiplier is derived from a server seed combined with the first three players’ client seeds, then published after the round so you can verify it yourself — that is what “provably fair” means. The hash is SHA-based; predicting the output would require breaking cryptographic hashing. Typical schemes include faked screenshots of “97.2% win rate” strategies, paid signal subscriptions, and bots that ask you to deposit through an unknown link before unlocking the “secret”. Red flags: any claim that the crash point can be known in advance, any request to pay for signals, and any link that bypasses the casino you already have an account with.
Fake demo sites and phishing domains
Some sites mimic a casino or Spribe’s branding and offer a “free demo”, then ask you to register with a card or crypto wallet before you can withdraw the demo balance. The real Aviator demo is free and needs no payment method; many casinos and Spribe’s own site let you play it without logging in. Other phishing pages copy a real casino’s design and ask for your login or card details on a domain that is one letter different from the legitimate one. Red flag: any site that asks for card details before you’ve played, or any login form on a domain you did not type yourself.
How to Verify You’re Playing the Real Game
Open the game and check these details:
- Provider branding: Spribe’s name and logo appear on the loading screen and in the game info panel. SPRIBE publishes 97% RTP for Aviator. This audit did not verify alternative certified settings. Read the exact game identity and rules if another figure is displayed; do not assume that a difference proves either a legitimate reduced setting or a counterfeit.
- Read the stake limits in the active game; limits alone do not establish authenticity or eligibility.
- Provably fair menu: the game shows a hash, server seed and player seeds after each round. If these are missing, you are not playing Spribe’s build.
- No download needed: the real game opens in your browser or the casino’s app. If you installed a file to play it, delete the file.
- Licensed casino page: you logged into a casino first, then opened Aviator from the lobby. You did not download a “game file” and open it directly.
From this guide’s directory requiring account-specific checks, Spribe is confirmed as a provider at 7Bit Casino, King Billy Casino, RocketPlay Casino, Ricky Casino and Zoome Casino. Check the lobby or contact support before depositing if the site is not on that list.
If You’ve Been Scammed
If you’ve entered card details into a fake app, paid for signals, or deposited through an unknown link:
- Stop further payments immediately. Do not respond to follow-up messages offering to “recover” your money for a fee — that is a second scam.
- Contact your bank or payment provider. If you used a card, report the transaction as fraud and ask for a chargeback. If you sent crypto, contact the exchange you used; blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, but the exchange may freeze the receiving wallet if it is flagged.
- Keep evidence: screenshots of the app, website, Telegram chat, payment confirmation and any correspondence. Save the APK file if you still have it.
- Report it: file a report with your local police (for fraud) and Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au, the ACCC’s reporting service). If the fake site impersonated a real casino, notify that casino’s support team so they can issue a public warning.
- Gambling harm: if the scam or real-money play has caused financial or emotional harm, contact Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 (24/7, free) or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. Lifeline: 13 11 14.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) enforces the Interactive Gambling Act and has asked internet providers to block 1,564 illegal gambling and affiliate websites since November 2019, but it cannot recover money from offshore operators or phishing sites. Your bank and Scamwatch are your first contacts.
Where Aviator Is Offered by Real Casinos
Aviator is not available at any Australian-licensed site. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 prohibits online casino games being offered to people in Australia, so every casino where you can play Aviator for real money is offshore and outside Australian consumer protection. The provider prohibition does not establish individual eligibility or a legal recommendation. From this guide’s directory of references, Spribe is confirmed at 7Bit Casino (which has a dedicated Aviator page), King Billy Casino, RocketPlay Casino, Ricky Casino and Zoome Casino. Slotexo Casino lists 123 providers, but Spribe’s presence is not confirmed — search “Aviator” in the lobby before depositing. Casinos built on RTG software (such as Joe Fortune and Fair Go) do not carry Spribe games. Prefer a casino where you can withdraw by the same method you deposit with, and where your AUD balance is kept in AUD.
